Tom Gordon MP asks residents to share their experiences with phone coverage in Harrogate and Knaresborough
After multiple residents relayed reports of patchy signal and “one bar” service, particularly with EE, the MP and Councillor are taking action on their behalf.
Mr Gordon is urging residents to share their experience of signal strength, call and data reliability, as well as any coverage gaps in Knaresborough, Harrogate and the surrounding areas.
Cllr Walker said: “The Council have failed to properly coordinate with EE and solve simple issues like a tree interfering with their phone mast. Now I’ve managed to get the two talking to one another we want to add residents’ voices into the conversation and find a swift resolution.”
The survey results will help to map the connectivity issues and present the problems clearly to EE, North Yorkshire Council and other phone companies.

“Decent phone coverage is basic infrastructure and it’s a serious safety issue when it disappears.
We need your help to put together the full picture, present the problem to the people in charge and restore coverage to our neighbourhoods.”
